The Quincy Kennel Club was founded in 1960 in Quincy, Illinois. Its members are from all walks of life and include dog show exhibitors as well as concerned pet owners. The QKC loves to share their passion for promoting responsible pet ownership, sportsmanship, and canine welfare. The QKC promotes obedience training for all dogs: mixed breeds and purebred dogs. Quincy K9 Connection
Quincy K-9 Connection is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming unwanted shelter animals in Illinois, Iowa and Missouri. They are an all-volunteer organization that receives no state or federal financial support. Quincy K9 Connection relies on private donations, grants and volunteers' time and resources. They are committed to giving every dog in high-kill shelters in the community a chance at a loving, forever home. They are based in Quincy, IL and serve needy shelter animals in Illinois, east central Missouri and south central Iowa. Transports run every Saturday morning year round to move animals from high kill shelters to the safety of approved foster-based licensed rescue groups, mostly around the Chicago area.
